Women in the Driver Seat: How Ride Hailing and Delivery is Steering Economic Inclusion for Southeast Asia’s Women.

The UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS), Kantar, and Grab have collaborated on a landmark paper titled “Women in the Driver Seat: How Ride Hailing and Delivery is Steering Economic Inclusion for Southeast Asia’s Women.” The report focuses on three key areas of study – identifying motivations of women joining platform work, highlighting structural barriers that they face in contributing to the workforce and ways to dismantle these barriers based on learnings from Grab, and the impact that employment has for women driver-partners. Ultimately, the report examines how women can continue to unlock economic opportunities through workforce participation in the region.

SLR-GCNS Executive Guide to Nature-Related Disclosures (TNFD)

In partnership with SLR and the United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS), we are pleased to announce the co-authorship of a paper on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). This paper underscores how the TNFD framework expands upon established climate disclosure principles, adopting the four-pillar structure of the TCFD now integrated within the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards issued by the ISSB.
