The UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS), Kantar, and Grab have collaborated on a landmark paper titled “Women in the Driver Seat: How Ride Hailing and Delivery is Steering Economic Inclusion for Southeast Asia’s Women.”
The report focuses on three key areas of study – identifying motivations of women joining platform work, highlighting structural barriers that they face in contributing to the workforce and ways to dismantle these barriers based on learnings from Grab, and the impact that employment has for women driver-partners.
