Andrew Buay

Founder

Human Meridian Advisory

Andrew Buay is CEO and Founder of the Human Meridian Advisory. He is a coach and mentor to boards, leaders and organisations on strategy, governance, sustainability, and career and workforce transformation shaped by AI – with more than three decades of senior executive experience previously across the Singtel Group.

From 2013 to 2026, he served as Vice President of Group Corporate Sustainability, during which Singtel became an early pioneer in social innovation, climate scenario analysis (2014), Science-Based Targets initiative (2017) and TCFD‑aligned disclosures (2022). Under his leadership, the Group received the Singapore President’s Award for the Environment (2019), was named the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Champion of the Year (2021), and was recognised in Steward Leadership 25 (2023). Andrew was named the No. 1 Sustainability Leader in Telecommunications in 2025 by Impact Leadership Magazine.

Since 1990, he has held diverse leadership and regional roles with the Singtel Group including CIO of Optus, COO of Globe Telecom, CEO of SingNet/Multimedia Group, and founding Head of Singtel Ventures, a pioneering S$150 million corporate venture capital technology investment fund.

Andrew has coached over 180 company leaders and mentored founders of tech and AI‑enabled social enterprises through the Singtel Group Future Makers programme. He serves on the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Industry Advisory Committee for sustainability education, and previously contributed to national strategies for the Singapore social services and disability sectors.

He is an accredited director with the Singapore Institute of Directors and an accredited coach with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership. Andrew holds a First Class Honours (BA) from the National University of Singapore and an MSc in Management from Stanford University (Sloan Program).

Sorouch Kheradmand

Sorouch Kheradmand is Global Head/Partner Sustainability at Schneider Electric, a €40 billion global energy technology company, where he leads sustainability strategy and digital solutions across the company's business ecosystem. His work focuses on helping executives translate sustainability from compliance burden to competitive advantage.

Drawing on experience across R&D, M&A, and commercial leadership, he has built sustainability-driven business models that generate measurable business value. His initiatives include circular economy programs and AI-powered optimization platforms that help clients reduce operational costs while meeting decarbonization targets. His expertise spans supply chain sustainability, carbon accounting platforms, and the strategic deployment of AI for climate challenges.

He teaches sustainability strategy and business transformation at INSEAD, Singapore Management University, and National University of Singapore. In the classroom, he trains executives and graduate students to bridge two languages—the urgency climate science demands and the profit logic business requires—using live strategic challenges. His work has been featured in Brunswick Review and ESG Today.
