Mr. Raghu Reddiam is the Director (Operations & Administration) of UN Global Compact Network Singapore.
He has 30+ years of experience in large MNC companies and a brief entrepreneurial venture. He worked 14 years in Motorola and 14 years in Shell in country, regional and global HR roles. He worked in various kinds of business environments from high growth to changing scenarios leading to change & restructuring.
In the most recent role he worked on transforming an asset steering them towards sustainability with focus on culture and capabilities. He has mentored start ups and his passion is in coaching and developing talent and business to grow and fulfill their potential.
Mr. Terence Tan is the Director (Carbon Management), of UN Global Compact Network Singapore. In this role, he oversees operational and strategic decarbonisation activities for CPLC (Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition) Singapore, which is the decarbonisation arm of GCNS.
Terence has more than 30 years industry experience with Shell Oil, in which he held leadership positions in process technology, operations and HSE (health, safety and the environment). He is a believer in “servant leadership”, leading by personal example based on his core values of Integrity, Honesty and Respect for people. In this career pivot into sustainability and the environment, Terence applies his lifelong passion to promote a culture of energy conservation and protection of the environment, guided by sustainable development principles, in all his areas of influence.
Terence has a B.Eng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He attended the Cambridge University Prince of Wales Business and Sustainability Program for Senior Executives, as well as training on various ISO standards such as 50001 and 14064.
Ms. Chan Sue Meng is Deputy Director (Sustainability and Capability Building) at UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS). She leads GCNS’ upskilling and capability building initiatives in support of Singapore’s sustainability agenda. She does this by assisting companies to advance their sustainability ambitions through training, sustainability tools and resources, and by providing them with a supportive network.
Ms. Chan has a background in strategy, communications, innovation, sustainability and training with cross-sector experience.
A champion of the aspirational Sustainable Development Goals, she is passionate about helping entities to align their vision with the goals, and to design inclusive frameworks that inspire positive action.
She is a GRI-certified sustainability reporting specialist, holding an M.A. in Asia Pacific Studies from University of Leeds, and is a published heritage author, building a historical trail for responsible tourism in Perak in her personal time.
Ms. Aditi Mehrotra Sahni is the Senior Manager (Marketing) of UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS). She is an experienced leader with over 10 years of proven leadership and a consistent track record of delivering growth across industries.
Ms. Sahni has led global brands, resource-light niche brands as well as start-ups and pivoted them to profitable business models by making their impact significant. She has an unwavering focus on consumers with a consistent record of delivering strong outcomes.
She thrives in a complex and ambiguous environment with a knack for finding solutions anchored on core human insights through connections, co-curation, and a modern communication approach.
Ms. Sahni is a strong people-based leader with demonstrated strengths in blending strategic and operational thinking, creating breakthrough approaches to integrated marketing, crafting best-in-class campaigns, content and communication, and building high-performing teams.
Mr. Dalton Tan is a well-rounded individual who appreciates working both alone and collaboratively as a team. He has more than 10 years of experience in the events industry and has undertaken various roles that have given him exposure to a variety of disciplines, including event and project management, administrative support, logistics, and more. Dalton held significant positions in organising and carrying out trade fairs, conferences, and community events with more than 2,000 attendees for vast organisations, including charitable/non-profit organisations, national sports associations, and event management firms/agencies.
He received his first award in 2009 at the TYREXPO for Best Exhibition Stand Design, Gold Award, providing him with an ongoing drive to learn, participate, and cooperate in order to provide significant and sustainable contributions to the organisations with which he works. Alongside his career as Assistant Manager, Events & Logistics at UN Global Compact Network Singapore, Dalton enjoys spending time with his mates playing tennis. On the weekends, you may find him at a cosy bar enjoying a short drink.
Mr. Lin Qingyao is the Assistant Manager (Upskilling & Recognition) at Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition Singapore, the decarbonisation arm of UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS). He facilitates capability building initiatives to support companies in their carbon management journey, including training workshops, tools development and network events.
With over 14 years of experience in supply chain and project management at ExxonMobil and over 2 years in a sustainable packaging start-up, Qingyao specialize in carbon accounting, sustainability, and circular packaging solutions. His key skills include optimizing supply chains, leading cross-functional teams, and managing large-scale projects to drive operational efficiency and environmental impact.
Qingyao have successfully developed carbon accounting tools, implemented close-loop packaging systems, and built strategic partnerships to enhance business resiliency. Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures, he is passionate in helping organizations achieve sustainability goals through effective communication, training, and the integration of sustainability into core business processes, delivering measurable results aligned with strategic objectives.
Dr. Bicky Bhangu is President – South East Asia, Pacific and South Korea at Rolls-Royce, based in Singapore and is responsible for the operations across the company’s key businesses.
Bicky currently serves as President of the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS); Council Member for the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and Board Member for Land Transport Authority (LTA). He has served as Deputy President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, President of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore Vice President of European Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Singapore International Chamber of Commerce.
Bicky is an Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University. He has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield,
an MBA in Technology Management and is Certified International Director of Corporate Governance from INSEAD. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET); and Fellow of Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).
Bicky is married to Jennie and has two children Caitlin and George.
Mr. Kok Ping Soon is the Chief Executive Officear of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the apex business chamber championing the interests of Singapore’s business community in trade, investment and industrial relations matters. SBF represents more than 28,000 companies, as well as key local and foreign business chambers.
Prior to his current appointment, Ping Soon was Chief Executive of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech), the lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative and public sector digital transformation. He also held various positions in the Ministry of Manpower, National Security Co-ordination Secretariat, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Singapore Tourism Board, Contact Singapore (CS), and Economic Development Board (EDB). He spent six years in the United States working for CS and EDB.
He serves on the Board of SBF Holdings, SBF Connect, NUS-ISS and is a member of the NIE Council.
Ms. Lai is the Chief Corporate & Sustainability Officer at StarHub Ltd and the Honorary Treasurer of UN Global Compact Network Singapore’s Management Committee.
Ms. Lai is responsible for StarHub’s Corporate Communications, Legal, Corporate Secretariat, Regulatory and Sustainability functions.
Prior to this role, Ms. Lai was the Group’s General Counsel and Company Secretary. Before joining StarHub, she practised law at Rajah and Tann Singapore LLP for six years.
Ms. Lai is appointed as a specialist mediator by the Singapore International Mediation Centre. She was conferred the Chief Legal Officer 2020 Award by the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association, and is listed in Legal 500’s GC Powerlist. She also received the Asian Company Secretary 2013 Award for Singapore by Corporate Governance Asia.
Ms. Lai holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Quek is Advisor & Honorary President of the Health Supplements Industry Association (Singapore). He is concurrently the Executive Director of the ASEAN Alliance of Health Supplement Associations. Mr. Quek’s focus is to help the ASEAN HS industry sensibly navigate the diverse regulatory and healthcare policies, to accelerate sustainable growth for the benefit of consumers, industry players and local economies. He continues to represent the industry at the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality for Traditional Medicines and Health Supplements Product Working Group in the drive towards a Harmonised HS Regulatory regime. Mr. Quek previously served as a member of the Singapore Food Agency’s inaugural Advisory Committee on the Evaluation of Health Claims.
Daniel has over 30 years of experience in multinational companies managing corporate sustainability, regulatory and public affairs, including crisis and marketing communications. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from James Cook University (Australia), a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Singapore Institute of Education.
Ms. Sandra Seah is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in regulatory laws, transformation projects, public procurement and cross-border transactions and collaborations. She specializes in energy regulations and renewable energy projects and sustainable infrastructure. She advises regulators and agencies, and also assists corporations who seek to capitalise on Singapore’s strength as a key business hub in Asia in terms of their business set up, commercial contracts and multi-jurisdictional transactions and projects.
Sandra is the lead coordinator for a large number of innovative public projects in Singapore, such as the Southeast Asia’s largest BESS, Pulau Ubin Microgrid project, Electricity Futures initiative, Building Retrofit Energy Efficiency Financing (BREEF) and the first CC-in-a-Mall concept.
Sandra serves on the Board/Exco of a number of industry associations such as SEAS, HFCAS, GCNS and WMRAS. She also works with Children’s Wishing Well, a local charity.
Mr. Michael Tang is the head of Listing Policy & Product Admission at Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo), a subsidiary of Singapore Exchange (SGX) that undertakes frontline regulatory functions. He oversees listing policy and rules development and has oversight of the listing admission of securities products, including debt securities, structured products and exchange-traded funds.
Mr. Tang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Laws degree and is admitted to the Singapore bar. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the NUS Business School’s Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO). Mr. Tang leads SGX’s efforts to promote sustainability across stakeholder groups.
Ms. Lay San is the Managing Director, Group Sustainability at the Oversea-Chinese Banking Cooperation (OCBC). Prior to OCBC, Lay San was head of carbon management solutions at Sembcorp Industries. At Sembcorp Industries, she co-founded GoNetZero, its carbon management arm and was also previously the Group’s global head of sustainability and strategic communications. She led the development and implementation of Sembcorp Industries’ climate change strategy and sustainability agenda across the Group as well as its investor relations and communication functions.
Lay San is a pioneer ESG (environmental, social, governance) practitioner and an experienced business and corporate affairs leader with over 25 years of experience spanning sustainability, business leadership, investor relations, strategic planning and corporate communications.
Lay San is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. She is also a management committee member of the Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS), the local chapter of the United Nation’s Global Compact and co-chair of the Climate Action Singapore Alliance.
Ms. Audrey Chia is Associate Professor at the NUS Business School, with a concurrent joint appointment at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is also Programme Management Chair of the MSc. Environmental Management Programme, which is a collaboration by 9 faculties and schools across NUS. Prof. Chia’s research applies leadership, change and innovation as theoretical foundations to address health, environmental and social challenges. Her research has been published in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), The BMJ (British Medical Journal) and the Academy of Management. She has served as an invited expert on social entrepreneurship, innovative philanthropy, innovative financing and sustainable development at meetings of the United Nations, Asian Development Bank, OECD, and the Asia-Pacific Leaders’ Malaria Alliance. She has spoken at conferences of the Academy of Management, the Integrated Care Foundation, the European Union Workplace Innovation Network, the World Health Summit and the Xiong An International Health Forum.
She has been invited to judge venture competitions, such as the Swiss Re Entrepreneurs for Resilience Award, Singtel Futuremakers, DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge, and the NUS Medical Grand Challenge. Prof. Chia has served as consultant on Leadership, Change, Managing in Asia and Diversity & Inclusiveness to many organisations, including Bridgestone, Dentsu, Deutsche Bahn-Schenker, Total, Catalyst, DHL, Jones Lang LaSalle, L’Oreal, McDonald’s, Maersk, Mitsui, Panasonic, Samsung, Telenor, Royal Brunei Airlines, PT Astra, Temasek Foundation, and the Brunei Ministry of Health. Prof. Chia directs NUS Business School’s Leadership Development Programme, which attracts participants from five continents. She also conducts Leadership Ethics at Yale-NUS College. From 2011-2017, she was Programme Director.
Mr. Chia is the Director of Group Sustainability at Singapore Telecommunications Limited. Mr. Chia started his career with Singtel in the Corporate Communications Division, focusing on the company’s communications needs and public relations matters. He is a communications specialist with vast experience in the entire spectrum of this field, including media relations, internal communications and event management. Mr. Chia has been heading the Group Sustainability unit in Singapore since March 2010, and is responsible for driving a wide range of sustainability and strategic community programmes to further entrench Singtel’s position as a sustainable and responsible company in Singapore and the region. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (2nd Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. En Lee is Managing Director, Head of Sustainable and Impact Investments in Asia at LGT, an international banking and asset management group with over USD 360 billion in assets under management. He leads and manages the regional impact investment portfolio in Southeast Asia and China. En was a Partner and is currently a Senior Advisor of Lightrock, a global private equity impact investment firm initiated by LGT. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of LGT Bank (Singapore) and LGT’s Global Sustainability Board. Prior to LGT, En was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong advising investment funds and previously a Corporate Solicitor at Freshfields in London specializing in private equity, M&A, and capital market transactions.
A recognized industry leader, En has served on the World Economic Forum ESG Advisory Group, Asia Investor Group on Climate Change, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore Sustainable Finance Steering Committee. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association and the Boards of UN Global Compact Singapore, Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, and the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association where he co-chairs the ESG Committee. En graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a CAIA charter holder. He was named an inaugural Sustainable Finance Fellow by The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore and is a Finance Leaders Fellow of the Aspen Institute.in
Ms. Ester An is the Chief Sustainability Officer at City Developments Limited. A pioneer in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability in Singapore for over 2 decades, Ms An is instrumental in building up CDL’s sustainability leadership. She has spearheaded CDL’s strategic sustainability integration and reporting, stakeholder engagement as well as green financing initiatives. A strong CSR advocate, she sits on board several organisations including World Green Building Council Corporate Advisory Board, UNEP Finance Initiative Real Estate Group, GRI Corporate Leadership Group for Integrated Reporting. Ms An also established the zero energy Singapore Sustainability Academy in June 2017 and manages extensive engagement programs. It has become a hub to promote climate action and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Founder of the Women4Green Network, Ms An is committed to engaging and empowering women to drive sustainable practices at home, at work and at play.
Ms. Eu-Lin leads the Sustainability & Climate Change practice across PwC Singapore and she is also a member of the wider PwC Global ESG Leadership Team. She helps clients strategise, implement, report and obtain assurance across a range Environmental, Social and Governance issues. This includes but not limited to in the areas of carbon measurement, decarbonisation and net zero pathways, climate risk assessments, Sustainability Development Goals prioritisation, green and sustainable finance, sustainability strategy and sustainability reporting. She has worked in London and Singapore and served clients across financial services, government, real estate, marine, oil and gas, consumer, resources and telecommunications. Her experiences are across advisory, audit, governance and risk management.
Eu-Lin graduated with a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. She is an Edwards S. Mason Fellow and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Eu-Lin is also a Singapore Chartered Accountant and an accredited Carbon Tax verifier. Eu-Lin serves on not-for-profit boards where she is a board member and Audit & Risk Committee Chairman of a healthcare related board and board member and Audit & Risk Committee Chairman of an international school. She is also the board member of an Institute of Higher Learning where she sits as an Audit Committee member and the Deputy Chairman of its business school. She also serves on committees under the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment.
A senior banker with extensive experience in the wide spectrum of the wealth management industry and an expert in family business, Federico advices Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, Institutions and Pension Funds. He is President of the European Chamber of Commerce, Council Member of Singapore Business Federation, ACCORD (Council on Community Relations in Defence at Mindef) and Member of the Supervisory Board of the EU Asean Business Council. Former President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore for five years, Federico serves as independent director in private companies and institutions; he is Vice President of Assocamerestero in Rome – apex body of the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad. Federico started his career in Sanpaolo Bank in New York and worked for several financial institutions in different locations and roles, including being founder and Chief Executive Officer of multi-family office FFA Asia. He graduated in financial markets at Bocconi University in Finance and was visiting student at Stern School of Business, New York University.
As CEO & Managing Director of 6 companies – FoodXervices Inc Pte Ltd, Groxers Inc Pte Ltd , LogiXtics Inc Pte Ltd , PlotX Inc Pte Ltd, X Properties Pte Ltd & X – Inc Pte Ltd. Nichol is responsible for sales, marketing, customer service, human resource, finance, business development and everything in between. She oversees more than 190 employees, 4000 customers, 4000 SKUS and an annual turnover of more than S$65million. She bought over the 80 year old family business and re-structured the company in May 2007. She has been involved in the food distribution business since 2002. The biggest aspiration is to be the most influential foodservice player in Asia, With X INC’s new “home” XPACE ,These ideas will have a permanent place to come to fruition. Prior to running the business, she was a Marketing Executive of MediaCorp Radio where she was part of the team in charge of re-branding all the Mediacorp Radio stations including Class 95, Y.E.S 933 and Gold 90.
Nichol graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences with Majors in Economics and Japanese Studies in 2000. Throughout her student life, she has been an active student leader. Progressing from the Head Prefect in her alma mata St Nicholas Girls School to be the President of Students’ Council in Catholic Junior College and finally the Vice President of the NUS Students’ Union in her graduating year. As a continuity of her active social engagement , Nichol established The Food Bank Singapore in 2012, a Charity which re-distributes excess foods to more than 360 Non-Profit organisations, reaching out to more than 200,000 underprivileged. She is also the current President of ONE(Singapore), a charity whose mission is to Make Poverty History by raising awareness about poverty issues in Singapore.
Ms. Shannen Fong is a seasoned communications practitioner with over 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, brand and corporate PR, crisis and marketing communications, as well as, sustainability and CSR. She’s adapt at building holistic and strategic communications for effective stakeholder engagement and corporate reputation building to advance business objectives and agenda with governments, NGOs, local communities and the media across Asia Pacific.
In this regard, Shannen has been a strategic counsel and partner to members of the C-suite and leadership teams in different companies across diverse industries. They include Asia Pacific Breweries (APB), Carlsberg, Enterprise de Paris 2012 (in support of Paris’ bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics), Epson, Nokia, Prima Group, Procter & Gamble, Sanofi-Synthelabo and Simmons. Shannen is also an award-winning practitioner in the area of sustainability and reporting, who spearheaded APB’s sustainability development framework and reporting across 14 APB markets in Asia Pacific. Currently, as the head of strategic communications at INCOME, Shannen continues to leverage her vast experience to tell the INCOME story and to build, safeguard and advance the company’s reputation amongst its internal and external stakeholders.
Most recently, Shannen was recognized for building Income’s salience as a digital and innovative insurer publicly at PR Awards 2020. She has also kick-started INCOME’s sustainability journey leveraging the ESG framework and is working towards a public report, alongside TCFD disclosure next year. What continues to strike a chord with Shannen at INCOME is the empowerment to go beyond communications to deliver positive social impact by ideating and iterating offerings and initiatives that improve the accessibility of insurance to those whom otherwise have few or no options in Singapore.
Mr. Yoon Young Kim is Cluster President for Singapore and Brunei at Schneider Electric.
In his current role at Schneider Electric, Kim seeks to grow Schneider Electric’s regional presence as the leader of digital transformation in energy management and automation. He spearheads efforts to drive the expansion and manufacturing capabilities of the Singapore and Brunei cluster, with a focus on high-growth potential areas such as microgrids. He is also leading efforts in helping customers within these regional markets to operate more sustainably. Kim was most previously Cluster Country President for Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar for Schneider Electric – a role he held for over four years from 2016 to 2020.
